Submissions
Updated: 9/10. See below for guidelines by section.
*We now have PDF versions of the submission guidelines and current calls for submissions to download, print, or save here, on the blog.
*We are listed at Duotrope.
*Please note that submission guidelines vary, depending on section, check out the section that you are interested in.
*If you have any questions, use the information on the contacts page, or feel free to direct general correspondence to: editors@fullofcrow.com or lynnalexander@fullofcrow.com
*Electronic submissions preferred. If certain accommodations are needed, please get in touch with us.
*Submissions should include "Submission/Fiction" or something similar to identify it as a submission and note in the email WHAT YOU ARE SUBMITTING TO! (Poetry, On The Wing, MiCrow, Fiction, Chapbooks, Audio, etc.) Artwork and photography will be posted as black and white images, and might be resized. (Exceptions: Arterialize, Galleries)
*No previously published work or simultaneous submissions unless otherwise noted. If you have concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Exceptions at the discretion of the editors.
*We are looking for your original work. Work that has been part of a workshop forum is acceptable, but please do not send us work that has been all over the internet. We are not trying to judge this or the desire to gain exposure, but we respectfully ask that you consider linking to the publications that publish your work instead of putting everything on places like facebook- increasing the traffic for corporate for-profit sites that do not give back to our communities. Support independent presses and zines that provide space for your creative work! Link to them, submit to them. We will try to do the same for you.
*Authors/Artists retain all rights to work. We ask for the right to publish work exclusively for the month that it appears but we do not seek to control or limit the use of work that belongs to you indefinitely. We reserve the right to remove work once it is published elsewhere and has found a "new home" or to remove content at our discretion from the archives. In general, work is archived on our website as long as possible. We hope that work appearing here will be noted as such, and we welcome links to our pages.
These guidelines pertain to Full of Crow Online. Other projects and publication formats will include their own submission and content information. Check out calls for submissions at the blog.
CONTENT DECISIONS ARE AT THE SECTION EDITOR'S DISCRETION.
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, unless otherwise noted. We are not a paying market at this time, we function on a non-profit, with a volunteer base, and actually we function with a deficit. If that changes, we will let you know.
*e-Books, e-chaps, comics, arterialize, audio, galleries, featured art, blog, misc. projects: contact Lynn Alexander at: lynnalexander@fullofcrow.com

*A bio is helpful, not required. If we publish your work we might ask for more information or a photo if you choose to provide one.
