Lenore, wonderful, compassionate work captured in a most sensitive and intelligent interview. Congrats to you both.

Lenore,
I'm so proud of you! Your writing, your words, your connection with peoples of the world is just wonderful. My wish is that everyone could read your words and you be recognized for the amazing writer & person you are.
This was a most wonderful interview. Much Love.

Dear Lenore,
I've only just now had the time to fully read the poems and the interview, giving them the time that they deserve. Your email has been carefully highlighted for future reading. I'm grateful to know a little bit more about your childhood and family. I have thought often about our dinner in San Francisco and how much I enjoyed being with you. Distance can impede relationships.

I wouldn't generally call myself a poetry reader, but your poems have lead me to others. A few months ago I went to a poetry reading at the Art Institute, and really loved it. Like you, the poet wrote from her heart and experience, introducing me to a reality that I did not know and a sensitivity that I had missed. I'm grateful for your talent and that you have shared it with me. And I'm really happy for you to receive this acknowledgment for your work!

Beautiful, well-wrought poems that address concerns way beyond the merely personal.

Loved reading an interview of one friend by another. So good to learn more about Lenore and her work. All the poems were very fine, but the last one, "Sh'ma Yis'rael," particularly moved me. It all made me want to go write....
