Our Readers

Our readers want to go somewhere they have never been and see things that they may know exist, but have not explored up close. They want to taste it for themselves, unfiltered, unfettered and unencumbered from political correctness. OTW readers are big boys and girls that think, decide and act on their own.

Our Writers

Our writers don’t spoon feed their message – they place it right out in the open for debate, conversation and dialogue. They have a voice and will be heard. They come from roads less traveled and aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo with their thoughts and  their work. They are in prisons, the military, classrooms, boardrooms, warehouses, row houses, cities, farms, small towns, unemployment lines, and bread lines.

Our writers have little in common other than a compulsion to tell their stories to you. They have multiple publications and zero publications to their credit. One thing however is certain, when their work appears here it is a thoughtful, polished, well articulated, moving write that will inspire, motivate, infuriate or exacerbate you.

We reach out to writers who are often marginalized, distrusted, who might be misunderstood. We publish things in this space that make us rethink our notions, question our assumptions, see things from another point of view.
