Love's Bullion and Untitled Haiku

 

Daniel Wilcox earned his degree in Creative Writing from Cal State University, Long Beach. A former activist, teacher, and wanderer--from Montana to the Middle East-- he casts his lines out upon the world's turbulent waters and wide shores in Counterexample Poetics, Moria, Wild Violet, Frame Lines, The Recusant, Word Riot, etc.

A short story, "The Faces of Stone" based on his time in the Middle East, appeared in both The Danforth Review and Danse Macabre. Recently, his poetry volume Lines Into Troubled Waters was accepted for publication in 2010. Daniel has completed a novel The Feeling of the Earth and is working on another poetry collection called Psalms, Yawps, and Howls.

He lives with his mysterious wife on the central coast of California.
