Poetry Month, Submissions Wanted for the OW Zine, Crow Radio, New Poetry, Fiction, Chapbook Series, and More. April is Poetry Month, and we have ended sign ups for the annual Outsider Writers chap swap. New this year will be a group chap made up of poetry from participants. These should be ready in May. Also coming soon will be a new issue of OW’s 1000th Monkey zine, and submissions are now being actively pursued. Get yours in as soon as possible. Madrea and I will be putting this issue together and we are hoping to feature a variety of pieces, from fiction to poetry to interviews and reviews. Surprise us.

Our radio shows and audio content continue to grow, and we now have an AUDIO section, www.fullofcrow.com/audio, to keep it all straight. This section has a show player (under Crow Radio tab) and a full schedule (Upcoming tab) with show dates, featured guests, and more. We will add individual mp3 downloads, links, and more.

April means new poetry and fiction, both sections are quarterly. Check out new content in the Poetry and Fiction sections.

We have new ebooks by Edward Wells and John Swain, and are starting the production of the FOC Chapbooks. Soon after these start coming out in May, we will have a “catalog” of everything we offer in print. This will be available right here on the blog.

We also have a virtual bookshelf on Issuu with flip versions of many of our ebooks, zines, and photo essays. If you have a digital book that you would like us to add, please contact us.

Full Of Crow Poetry Hour: This week we feature Peter Schwartz, followed by your poetry. (link for the details)

I am back, trying to catch up on emails and things. I added a bunch of new contributor photos to the Full Of Crow facebook page, in the “Contributors” album. Apologies all around for those who felt slighted because they weren’t in there, I don’t even have pictures of a lot of contributors but if one is sent my way I will add it in as soon as possible. For now I tried to add the ones I either had or could track down. We will also add an album of photos from events, readings, and candids so if you have some of those feel free to send them as well. We need permission from subjects before we post them, don’t want to violate any ‘privacy’ boundaries.

Let’s see: Blink Ink #2 is out, contributor copies should be either on their way or in hand. The Poetry Hour is still going on each week, Sunday evenings, 10 pm EST. New ebooks and audio coming. New reviews and interviews.

Submissions close this week for Quarterly Fiction, April. Poetry should be up in April as well. Content wanted for the next MUST zine. We’re looking at May for that.

In addition to our interviews at PRATE, I am going to start the option of audio formats for interviews. That means that we can do one on one interviews and features using the radio format and regular phone then add mp3 files to PRATE. The files can also be downloaded, shared, posted around, whatever an interviewee would like to do. Hopefully, this provides more options for our contributing personalities.
